In Cooperation with Technical University Munich (TUM) DK Ventures offers various academical research projects. Since the investment activities are closely related to recent research outcomes, our company maintains close relationships with several top-tier german universities.
Description
At the centre of the work and the project is the analysis of the business models and the legal framework conditions of various FinTechs. In particular, the following questions are to be answered:
- What opportunities and types of micro-investments can currently be found on the market for alternative assets?
- What is the regulatory framework in Germany and the U.S.? What are the differences? What regulatory weaknesses exist and are they being exploited?
- What risks does this entail for investors?
- What advantages do the various investment models offer?
- What are the underlying business models? What influence do the regulatory differences between Germany and the USA have on the business models?
- For which asset classes are which forms of investment therefore particularly useful?
- Is it possible to derive an attractive form of investment for other asset classes from the opportunity/risk profile and develop a business model from this?
Procedure
The project is carried out full-time (3 months) or part-time (6 months) in a group of 2-5 people. The starting date is flexible. The project language is German, optionally also English. The project can be carried out 100% remotely and the results will be presented in a short PowerPoint (max. 10 slides) and a detailed project report.
If you are interested in the project, please contact Leonard Krall (krall@dkventures.de) informally with your CV and the planned time frame.
